Al-Mustaqbal University commemorated the anniversary of the passing of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family) through a series of humanitarian and cultural activities that reflected the noble values advocated by the Prophet.
In its statement, the University emphasized that remembering this sorrowful occasion is not limited to grief alone, but serves as an opportunity to reflect on the Prophet’s pure life, drawing lessons of patience, tolerance, and generosity that formed a lasting humanitarian and civilizational path.
As part of its social role, Al-Mustaqbal University continued its annual tradition of serving the pilgrims arriving in Najaf Al-Ashraf, by distributing food, water, and essential services—strengthening the spirit of solidarity and embodying the message of genuine Muhammadan Islam in serving people.
The University also clarified that commemorating this occasion aligns with its academic mission, which goes beyond education and scientific research to include the promotion of humanitarian, social, and cultural values recommended by the Prophet, making the University a beacon for both students and society.
In line with its developmental vision, Al-Mustaqbal University affirmed that these initiatives also contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 2: Zero Hunger, through providing food and water to pilgrims, thereby enhancing social solidarity and complementing its academic and community mission.
