The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized a specialized online workshop entitled “Program Accreditation Standards” delivered by Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Abdullah Mirdas, Head of the Biomedical Engineering Department.

The workshop focused on the most important standards and requirements for program accreditation and their role in developing academic programs and ensuring their quality, with a discussion on the practical implementation mechanisms of these standards in accordance with recent developments in higher education.

This workshop comes as part of the department’s efforts to enhance academic quality and develop educational curricula in line with global advancements in the fields of engineering and medical education.
