Under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies, Asst. Prof. Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, and chaired by the Scientific Assistant Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Amin Mohammed Kitab, the college held an extensive meeting on Wednesday, 01/10/2025, to discuss the preparations for the ceremony honoring the top students of the academic year 2024–2025, in addition to reviewing teaching loads and departmental course schedules.
The meeting included a review of the preparations made by the scientific departments, which will be reflected through exhibitions, bazaars, and student activities accompanying the ceremony. It also highlighted success stories of outstanding students, special segments by the Summer Training Unit, as well as projects participating in the Hackathon competition. Furthermore, the distribution of schedules and lecture halls was discussed to ensure a well-organized start of the new academic year.
The Head of the Student Activities Division, Asst. Lecturer Ali Hassanein Mohsen Aboud, delivered a comprehensive presentation that outlined the main proposed activities, emphasizing the vital role of departments in ensuring the success of this special event that celebrates students’ achievements and dedication.
The meeting concluded with feedback shared by department representatives and an agreement to enhance preparations in order to deliver a ceremony that reflects the excellence of top students, combining academic recognition with scientific and student activities in an integrated manner.
This initiative falls within Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to achieving SDG 4 (Quality Education), by celebrating academic excellence and encouraging student creativity, thereby enhancing the quality of education in line with international standards.
