The College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a workshop entitled "Animation and Its Development Over Time" on Saturday, April 26, 2025.
The workshop was delivered by the esteemed Dr. Anas Al-Mousawi, who discussed the history of animation, identifying the first artist to express ideas through drawings, and tracing the development of animation up to the present day.
Dr. Al-Mousawi also highlighted how to become a professional in this field and utilize animation skills to succeed in the job market by translating creative ideas into animated artworks.
The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Huda Hashem Al-Rubaie, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Atiya Al-Saadi, along with a group of faculty members from the Departments of Fine Arts and Interior Design, and a number of students.
This workshop aligns with Al-Mustaqbal University's commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing students' artistic and digital skills, and Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by fostering employment opportunities in creative and digital arts sectors.
