In a stimulating intellectual and cultural atmosphere, and as part of the scientific activities of the College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University, an academic symposium was held under the patronage of the respected University President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi.

The event, titled:
“Baghdad: The Capital of History through Culture, Beauty, and Artistic Imagery”,
was held in the Conference Hall of the Engineering Building.

The symposium was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Atiya Mousa Al-Saadi, the Scientific Assistant of the College of Fine Arts, in collaboration with Dr. Fawzia, Head of the Department of Archaeology. The discussion focused on Baghdad’s rich heritage through artistic, cultural, and historical lenses, highlighting the city’s aesthetic dimensions across various eras.

This academic event reflects the College's commitment to integrating art with the humanities and reinforcing Baghdad’s timeless role as a symbol of culture, beauty, and civilizational depth in the collective memory of humanity.
