The Design Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts Organizes a Humanitarian Visit to the State Orphanage for Eid Al-Adha Date: 02/06/2025 | Viewers: 862

As part of its community service initiatives, the Design Department at the Faculty of Fine Arts – Al-Mustaqbal University organized a humanitarian field visit to the State Orphanage, coinciding with the approach of Eid Al-Adha, with the aim of offering psychological and social support to orphaned children.

The visit was supervised by Dr. Asrar Abbas Samandar from the Department of Interior Design, and Assistant Professor Hussein Lutfi Hussein from the Department of Art Education, with the participation of teaching assistants Noor Ali Raji and Sarah Faeq Ali, along with several Sustainability Ambassadors from the college’s students.

Symbolic gifts were presented to the children in a heartwarming atmosphere, emphasizing the values of social solidarity and the role of art and education in fostering a compassionate society.

This initiative contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, by supporting the mental and emotional well-being of vulnerable groups, and reflects the university’s commitment to integrating sustainability into both academic and social outreach programs.
