As part of its commitment to advancing the educational process and keeping pace with the latest global technologies in artificial intelligence, the College of Fine Arts at Almustaqbal University organized an online workshop titled “The Virtual Teacher: The Potential of Artificial Intelligence to Address the Shortage of Teaching Staff and Support the Educational Process”. The workshop was held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. via Zoom.
The session was delivered by Prof. Dr. Huda Hashim Al-Rubaie, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, in collaboration with programmer Fatima Hussein Jawad. It addressed the following topics:
First Axis: The concept of the virtual teacher.
Second Axis: The potential of artificial intelligence in education.
Third Axis: The role of the virtual teacher in overcoming the shortage of teaching staff.
Fourth Axis: Challenges and considerations.
At the end of the workshop, an open discussion was held with the participants, and the main conclusions were summarized as follows:
Artificial intelligence provides wide opportunities to address the shortage of teaching staff.
It ensures equal learning opportunities and enhances the effectiveness and efficiency of education.
This workshop comes within the framework of Almustaqbal University’s efforts to support the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4, Quality Education, by leveraging modern technology and artificial intelligence to achieve inclusive and equitable education for all.
