The College of Medicine at Al-Mustaqbal University celebrated Iraqi Doctor’s Day, which falls on the 3rd of October each year, in recognition of the noble humanitarian mission carried by doctors and their vital role in safeguarding human health and serving society.

In his speech on this occasion, Prof. Dr. Walaa Luay Al-Falluji, Dean of the College, affirmed that the medical profession has always been and continues to be a symbol of sacrifice and giving, praising the exceptional efforts made by doctors under various circumstances, especially in confronting health challenges.

The Dean also called for drawing inspiration from the values of this day to strengthen the spirit of responsibility and professional commitment among medical students, and to exert efforts to achieve both academic and practical excellence. This, he stressed, contributes to building an integrated healthcare system aligned with the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being) by improving the quality of healthcare and advancing its services to ensure a better life for society.
