The College of Education's Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit organized a workshop entitled "Climate Change and Its Impact on Public Health" for faculty and staff across all departments: Educational and Psychological Sciences, English Language, and Quranic Studies. The workshop aimed to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, which include Goal 1: Ending Poverty, Goal 2: Zero Hunger, Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, Goal 4: Quality Education, and Goal 13: Climate Action. The workshop was held on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in the Humanitarian Building, Room 505. The workshop was delivered by Professor Dr. Thanaa Bahaa El-Din Abdullah, a specialist in counseling and psychotherapy and head of the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college. The workshop was facilitated by Professor Dr. Abdul-Jawad Al-Baydani from the Department of Quranic Sciences, and participated in the workshop by M.M. Alfat, Women's Affairs Officer in the Department of English Language.
