Department of Biology was established in 2023, being one of the Departments of College of Science at Al-Mustaqbal University. It seeks to provide Students with the necessary Knowledge & Skills in the Field of Biology, enabling them to think critically and creatively, and motivating them to explore and understand biodiversity as well as vital processes at the level of Cells & Ecosystems. As a matter of fact, Biology Department is committed to creating Supportive & Stimulating Learning Environment that would encourage Students to get involved innovatively in Scientific Research, and Community Participation. The department aims to provide students with a deep understanding of living organisms, We do aspire to graduate Generations of Experts in the Fields of Biology, being highly qualified to contribute to Society Progress and Nation Advancement through Research and Technological Innovation.
In its vision of the Department aims to achieve the highest levels of Academic Excellence in Teaching Biology, providing Students with deep and comprehensive understanding of Biological Concepts and Principles. Besides, we do encourage Research and Innovation in the Areas of Biology, enabling Students to acquire Research Skills, in addition to applying Theoretical Knowledge to Modern Challenges in the Field of Biology. After all, the Department seeks to building strong bridges with the Local and Industrial Community and promoting Environmental Awareness, Also understanding the interconnectedness between life forms and their environment, with a focus on promoting environmental sustainability and preserving biodiversity.

•Provision of distinct and diverse Study Programs in the fields of Biology that would meet the needs of Labor Market, and meanwhile enabling Students to excel academically and professionally
•Expansion of Students Scientific Horizons by adopting Advanced and Updated Educational Curricula, which include various specializations in Biology
•Promoting Scientific Research & Innovation in the Fields of Biology, encouraging students to actively participate in Research Activities
•Reinforcement of interaction & communication with Local and Industrial Community by conducting Workshops, Seminars, as well as Educational and Awareness-Raising Events in the Fields of Biology
•Providing Students with Practical Skills and Modern Techniques in the Fields of Microbiology, Zoology, Mycology, Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, Cellular Genetics, and Ecology
•Motivating Students for Critical and Innovative Thinking, in addition to developing Self-Research Projects
•Provision of ongoing Academic Support & Counseling to Students in order to help them achieve their Academic and Career Goals
