Launching of student clubs activities at the Continuing Education Center

The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University organized today the launch ceremony of student clubs, as part of the activities of the fourth annual book fair, as part of the university s efforts to enhance student activities and develop students capabilities in various academic and cultural fields. The ceremony included a comprehensive presentation of student clubs, attended by Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center, and the center s officials. The heads of clubs from various faculties of the university, such as Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Medical Systems, reviewed the visions and goals of their clubs, in addition to their future plans to develop their activities in line with students needs and aspirations. The student clubs that were launched: 1. Arts Club: to support and develop artistic talents in various creative fields. 2. Sustainable Development Club: to spread awareness of the importance of environmental and social sustainability. 3. Medical Sciences Club: to enhance scientific research and exchange knowledge in medical and health fields. 4. Technology Club: to develop technical skills and innovation in the fields of modern technology. 5. Entrepreneurship Club: To support entrepreneurial ideas and stimulate the spirit of initiative among students. 6. English Language Club: To develop language skills and enhance students’ abilities in academic communication

The University President leads a field visit to the Sustainable Development Laboratory (SDG-Lab) for trainees of the “Developing Youth Skills in Sustainable Development” course

As part of the training course activities to develop youth skills in sustainable development, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, the respected President of the University, paid a field visit to the Sustainable Development Laboratory "SDG-Lab" accompanied by the course trainees from the medical, engineering and humanitarian sectors. During the visit, His Excellency led interactive sessions for each sector, in which case studies submitted by the colleges were discussed according to the different specializations, highlighting the goals of sustainable development and their applied practices in the various specialized aspects. The field visit was attended by Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Al-Zuhairi, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, and Assistant Professor Dr. Reda Abdel-Ati Al-Fishawy, Director of the Continuing Education Center and supervisor of the course. The specialized trainers: Eng. Khaled Al-Salehi, Director of the Sustainable Development Division, Prof. Dr. Iman Abdel Aziz, Prof. Dr. Mazen Hadi, and Dr. Elaf Salah, also participated in interacting with the trainees during the field visit. It is worth noting that the training course is organized by the Continuing Education Center and lasts for 5 days, at the end of which the trainees receive a certificate accredited by the center.

Learning Development Center at Al-Mustaqbal University College Organizes Summer Training Courses for College Students

Learning Development Center at Al-Mustaqbal University College has organized Summer Training Courses for the Biomedical Engineering Department students. As a matter of fact, an integrated training program has been designed and implemented in a number of Governmental Hospitals where all medical devices are available. It has been indeed a good opportunity to practically train students in places such as operation rooms and laboratories, in addition to being able there to detect malfunctions in any of these devices and maintain them appropriately under direct supervision of the Center’s Staff. Learning Development Center at Al Mustaqbal University College Organizes a Course on ACCESS Program, its Aspects and Professional Techniques

Due to the increasing requirement for advanced electronic systems and programs for use and training by both students as well as the College staff, Information Technology Unit has organized a training course on ACCESS Program, its Aspects & Professional Techniques. A main objective of this course as stated above, is to provide trainees with high experience in the field of creating an integrated database with no need for complicated programming processes. The Dean of AlMustaqbal University College chairs an extended meeting of the medical departments

Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, Dean of the Future University College, chaired an extended meeting on Saturday 4/24/2022 with the medical departments, which included the members of these departments, represented by medical laboratories, anesthesia and radiology, and in the presence of the scientific assistant, Assistant Professor Dr. Abbas Al-Bawi. Interactivity and blended education instructions by emphasizing the basic materials and safety instructions and stressing the need to adhere to its procedures and emphasizing the quality assurance of e-learning and attendance and conducting questionnaires for students and professors to determine their outcomes. At the end of the meeting, the Dean of the College thanked the participants in the meeting, appreciating their efforts in completing the exams and wishing them health and safety

AlMustaqbal University College is pushing the pace towards digital learning and the use of virtual laboratories

Within the college’s plan towards digital transformation and studying the possibility of using virtual laboratories. The Information Technology Unit, in cooperation with the Danish labster laboratories, held a workshop on the use of virtual laboratories in medical specialties on the CokeMet platform on Monday 3/8/2021 at 7:00 pm. Where the most important characteristics and benefits of virtual laboratories were reviewed for the student, the mechanism for using these laboratories and the method of work, in addition to the possibility of conducting daily tests. More than 133 experiments can be conducted in the sciences of biophysical, chemical, and biotechnology, and they can create an interactive learning environment that simulates the real experience.

Continuation of workshops on the elearning mechanism at AlMustaqbal University College

Based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Ministerial Team for E-Learning And the directions of the respected Dean of the College, Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy For the fourth consecutive day, the Information Technology Unit hosted a workshop for programmers in the scientific departments on the mechanism for activating electronic lectures, which was given by the Director of the Information Technology Unit (Prof. Newcomers to e-learning platforms. The mechanism for preparing interactive lectures, e-learning methodologies, and the most important strategies used in e-learning via the Internet were discussed. The course was attended by programmers from the appointment of new associates in the scientific departments Note that the Information Technology and E-Learning Unit continues to give educational electronic lectures to the teaching staff and students of our college.
