As part of the scientific visit conducted by students of the second stage, Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering, College of Engineering / University of Al-Qadisiyah to the Energy Research Center at the University of the Future on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Mr. Hamid Baqir delivered an academic and awareness lecture in the presence of the center’s staff. The lecture began with a welcoming address to the students, followed by a comprehensive discussion on entrepreneurship and its importance during the university stage. The session highlighted how students can take advantage of the university environment to develop innovative ideas and transform them into academic products that can simultaneously enter the labor market after graduation. The lecture also addressed the key requirements needed by graduates to successfully enter the job market, emphasizing the role of the University of the Future in providing these requirements through academic support, training, and an innovation-friendly environment. In addition, the Energy Research Center reaffirmed its full support for productive projects and innovative ideas that have the potential to evolve into viable commercial ventures. Towards the end of the lecture, NFC technology was presented as a practical example of a simple yet effective idea that students can utilize to enter the job market. The session explained its applications, methods of use, and how it can be integrated into business environments to reduce paper consumption and waste, contributing to a broader digital transformation trend. The lecture concluded with active student participation and discussions, reflecting the importance of such sessions in bridging academic knowledge with real-world professional demands.
