The staff of the Almustaqbal Energy Research Center participated in the activities of the second day of the Iraq International Energy and Renewable Energy Exhibition, held at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds in Baghdad. The exhibition witnessed wide participation from local, governmental, and international companies specialized in various energy sectors. This participation aimed to enhance communication and cooperation between the Almustaqbal Energy Research Center and companies operating in the energy sector, particularly in solar and renewable energy, in support of the strategic directions of Al-Mustaqbal University and the Center toward sustainability and the development of scientific and practical solutions suitable for the Iraqi context. During the exhibition, the Center’s staff conducted a series of technical meetings and discussions with representatives of several local, governmental, and international companies. These discussions focused on exploring potential areas of cooperation, most notably: •The possibility of supplying the Future Energy Research Center with modern materials, equipment, and technologies related to solar energy systems, to support the Center’s applied activities in designing and installing solar power systems. •Opening avenues for cooperation with international companies to exchange expertise in scientific and applied research related to renewable energy. •Coordination to organize scientific conferences, specialized forums, and training workshops in collaboration between the Future Energy Research Center and Al-Mustaqbal University on one side, and international companies and institutions on the other. The Center’s staff emphasized that this participation aligns with the Center’s strategy to strengthen the linkage between scientific research and practical application, enhance the University’s role in serving the community, and support the transition toward clean and sustainable energy, in line with national and global trends. Several participating companies expressed strong interest in cooperating with the Future Energy Research Center and Al-Mustaqbal University, whether in technical support, joint research projects, or specialized training programs, reflecting the Center’s growing academic reputation and its active role in the energy sector.
