Al-Mustaqbal University Comes First among Private Universities at Scimago Institutions Ranking 2025
It is remarkable to note that Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of AL-Mustaqbal University, has announced that Our University has managed to achieve a distinguished accomplishment by coming in the First Place among Private Universities at Scimago Institutions Ranking 2025, and meanwhile occupying the 11th Position among all Iraqi Universities, and thus moving 13 Ranks ahead as compared to last year. Such Advancement indeed comes as a result of the University Efforts that have been exerted to promoting Scientific Research, Innovation Support, as well as Enhancement of Education Quality, where all these issues have contributed in the improvement of the University Position at International Academic Rankings. There is no doubt that this Achievement does reflect the success of Our University Strategies in the creation of Distinguished Research Partnerships. We should note however that Scimago World Ranking is based in its assessment on three main issues: • Scientific Research: 50% • Innovation: 30% • Societal Impact: 20% Al-Mustaqbal University has attained remarkable progress in these issues, moving ahead for more than 1000 Ranks at Global Level in the Fields of Research and Innovation.
