AL-Mustaqbal University participated in the activities of the International Day of Babylonian Civilization, which kicked off in Babil Governorate on April 10. The event was attended by His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid; His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Dr. Mohammed Tamim; the Governor of Babil, Mr. Adnan Fayhan al-Dulaimi; and a number of political, diplomatic, cultural, and artistic figures. AL-Mustaqbal University pavilion at the festival was visited by His Excellency the President, who praised the university's reputation and academic excellence, commending its advanced rankings among private universities in local and international rankings. AL-Mustaqbal University pavilion witnessed a large turnout from local and international delegations. The pavilion featured a distinguished display of a collection of Babylonian antiquities, in collaboration with the Department of Archaeology at the College of Arts, which provided a documented scientific explanation of the symbols and artifacts on display, highlighting the cultural heritage of the city of Babylon. The pavilion also featured a display of the university's peer-reviewed scientific publications, reflecting the university's research and academic efforts in various fields, particularly those related to history, archaeology, and humanities. This reflects the university's pioneering scientific role in supporting cultural and heritage studies. This three-day event, the first of its kind in Iraq, includes specialized conferences on archaeology and investment, as well as exhibitions of flowers, traditional industries, folk crafts, and literary and cultural productions. This event embodies the cultural depth of Babylon and its historical role in serving humanity.
