Al-Mustaqbal University Honors Preparatory Committee Members of World Intellectual Property Day Celebration
It is considerable to note that Al-Mustaqbal University has honored the Preparatory Committee Members of the World Intellectual Property Day Celebration, in addition to a selected group of University Affiliates, including the Members of Rehabilitation, Employment, & Follow-Up Division, who played a prominent role in the organization of the Celebration that was convened on April 26th, 2025. It is worth noting that the Event was under the guardianship of Prof Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, Al-Mustaqbal University President, being attended by Representatives of Government Ministries, Intellectual Property Institutions, Iraqi Inventors and Innovators Society, as well as a distinguished group of Academics, Inventors, and related University Entities. In his Speech, the University President has expressed his appreciation to the efforts exerted by the Participants in organizing this Vital Event. Accordingly, they have been awarded with Certificates of Appreciation, which reflect and confirm the University’s Pride of their dedication, cooperative spirit, and high professionalism, that have widely contributed to the Event’s Outstanding Success. We should note however that Dr. Mudhaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, the Scientific and Academic Supervisor, has had the opportunity to distribute these Certificates. Part of the Celebration Program has been Al-Mustaqbal University Announcement of its Intellectual Property Policy Document, and thus being the First Academic Institution in Iraq to adopt such a document. As a matter of fact, it can be taken as an innovative step toward fostering a Culture of Protecting Innovation and Inventors’ Rights. Finally, we are obliged to note that the unique role played by the Division of Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-Up in the organization process shall stand out as a prime example of Integrated Institutional Work at the University, keeping in mind that the Division continuously supports Pioneering Initiatives that would enhance Awareness and Knowledge among Students and Graduates, strongly linking them to the Culture of Innovation as well as Job Market Requirements.
