Al-Mustaqbal University officially cooperates with Ibn Tofail University on the sidelines of the GSDC 2025 conference in Istanbul part of its continuous efforts to enhance academic cooperation and engage with pioneering university experiences in the Arab world, Al-Mustaqbal University has signed a scientific and academic cooperation agreement with Ibn Tofail University in Morocco, on the sidelines of their participation in the Global Sustainable Development Congress (GSDC 2025), organized by Times Higher Education in Istanbul, Turkey. This agreement aims to develop areas of joint collaboration between the two universities across multiple axes, including the exchange of academic and research expertise, implementation of joint programs in sustainability, renewable energy, and digital transformation, support for academic and student exchange, participation in cross-border research and development projects, enhancement of joint scientific publication, and the organization of international conferences and seminars. Al-Mustaqbal University was represented in the signing by its official delegation participating in the conference, headed by Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, Dean of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies. The meeting took place in a productive academic atmosphere reflecting the depth of cultural and scientific relations between Iraq and Morocco, and affirming both parties’ desire to build a genuine partnership that supports the goals of sustainable development and enhances the quality of higher education in the Arab world. Representatives of both universities emphasized during the signing ceremony that this agreement marks the beginning of a long-term strategic cooperation, opening broad prospects for students, researchers, and academic institutions in both countries. This step is part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision to build an effective network of regional and international partnerships, enabling it to exchange expertise and resources, and strengthening its presence in the global academic landscape as an educational institution with real developmental impact.
