The President of Al-Mustaqbal University expresses his pride and honor at the university s achievement of ranking first globally in the Energy pillar (SDG-7), and first in Iraq in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) ranking. Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, spoke about the recent accomplishments, saying: *"I am pleased to share with you an important milestone added to the record of Al-Mustaqbal University’s achievements. Our university has ranked first globally under Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG-7), which focuses on Affordable Energy for All . This is the highest ranking ever achieved by an Arab university at the level of the Arab world and Iraq. Moreover, it is a remarkable achievement that we have also ranked first in Iraq under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-17), with a global position between 200–300 in the Impact Rankings issued by Times Higher Education (UK), which is a global benchmark measuring universities’ impact on the SDGs."* "This achievement reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to excellence in scientific research, education, and meaningful community engagement—guided by our vision of achieving sustainable development and strengthening our position as a globally leading institution."
