Summer Training Program
The summer training program for students of the College of Engineering and Engineering Technologies continues under the direct supervision of the almustaqbal Center for Energy Research. As part of the program, students participate in ongoing field visits to several actual work sites, allowing them to observe the practical realities of engineering projects and engage directly with the technical and administrative aspects of implementation he aim of this program is to enhance the students practical skills and connect them with real-world work environments, in alignment with labor market requirements and to contribute to building a well-qualified and trained generation of engineers. Several field visits have already been carried out in the presence of Professor Dr. Sulwan Obeid Waheed, Director of the Center, who emphasized the importance of this training project in refining students abilities and expanding their technical knowledge. He pointed out that moving between different sites allows students to gain diverse experiences and deepens their understanding of the engineer’s role in various areas such as planning, supervision, and execution. This training project has yielded significant benefits for the students, offering them a rare opportunity to closely observe work systems in both investment and governmental projects, interact with modern devices and equipment, and explore realistic implementation methods within an integrated professional environment.
