As part of the ongoing summer training program, the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research organized a practical field workshop focused on occupational safety measures for engineers working inside under-construction buildings, including the Al-Mustaqbal University Hospital. The session, led by the site engineer, covered key safety practices such as: ✅ Wearing helmets and high-visibility vests ✅ Identifying and using designated walkways ✅ Safe lifting and handling of materials ✅ Respecting restricted work zones ✅ Avoiding unsafe overhead work areas ✅ Reporting potential hazards immediately The students actively engaged with the content, asking insightful questions about emergency scenarios and risk prevention. Prof. Dr. Sulwan Obeid Waheed, the Center’s Director, emphasized that mastering safety standards is as vital as technical skills for any engineering professional.
