Al-Mustaqbal University continues its activities as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, with the third day featuring a series of high-quality events organized by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division at the University Presidency, in the presence of Professor Dr. Abbas Abdul Ali Al-Bawi, Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs The events commenced with a speech delivered by Professor Dr. Iman Abdul Aziz, Head of the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Division, in which she highlighted the key themes of the day. She emphasized the importance of promoting sustainability concepts, empowering Iraqi women, and strengthening entrepreneurship among people with disabilities, in addition to adopting socially driven entrepreneurial models that contribute to creating a positive and sustainable societal impact. She also underlined the university’s role in nurturing and supporting active and influential talents within the community The day’s program included a women’s forum titled “Iraqi Women and the Leadership of Change,” which discussed the role of women in leading entrepreneurial initiatives and driving societal transformation. It also featured a specialized panel discussion on entrepreneurship for people with disabilities, showcasing inspiring success stories that demonstrated the ability to transform challenges into promising opportunities Additionally, the program included a lecture on community sustainability and its role in supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem, focusing on the importance of building effective partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and strengthening integration between academic institutions and society The events also featured presentations of distinguished success stories by female students of Al-Mustaqbal University, who were honored in recognition of their entrepreneurial achievements. Furthermore, the College of Fine Arts participated through an art exhibition that reflected the status of Iraqi women and their influential role across various fields of life These activities reflect Al-Mustaqbal University’s commitment to comprehensive entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, and supporting people with disabilities, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals and the university’s vision of serving society and building a more inclusive and sustainable future
