Under the patronage of the respected Dean of the Engineering Technical College, and within the framework of its plan to empower students and prepare them for the labor market, the Division of Qualification and Employment at the University Presidency organized, with direct follow-up from the Qualification and Employment Unit at the Deanship of the Engineering Technical College and in coordination with the Summer Training Unit, the launch of the first day of the two training courses titled Electrical Power Generation Stations and Occupational Safety in the Engineering Work Environment, in cooperation with Energy Experts Company This initiative reflects the vital role played by the Division of Qualification and Employment in strengthening the practical aspect of education and linking academic outcomes with labor market requirements, through organizing specialized training programs that contribute to refining students’ skills and developing their professional competencies The first day witnessed active participation from students across various engineering technical departments. The two courses included both theoretical and practical sessions focusing on technical aspects and safety procedures within engineering work environments The Division of Qualification and Employment continues to closely monitor the progress of the two courses to ensure the achievement of their intended training objectives, while emphasizing the importance of partnerships with specialized institutions in supporting the educational process
