The Continuing Education Center at Al-Mustaqbal University held a specialized course entitled **“Keratoconus Treatments and Scleral Lenses.”** The event was attended by a distinguished group of specialists and professionals in the fields of optometry and eye health. The course was presented by international lecturer Nasser Al-Shammari, who discussed the latest scientific methods and advanced technologies in the diagnosis and treatment of keratoconus, as well as the proper fitting and application of scleral lenses in accordance with international standards. The program included intensive hands-on laboratory training to strengthen participants’ practical skills. The course featured specialized practical training sessions and concluded with the awarding of two accredited certificates to participants: one from Al-Mustaqbal University and another from the American company X-Cel Atlantics, in recognition of their successful completion of the training requirements. The Center’s administration stated that organizing this course is part of its ongoing plan to deliver high-quality programs that enhance scientific and professional competencies and keep pace with the latest developments in medical and technological fields, thereby improving the standard of professional services within the community.
