As part of the second day of the Fourth International Sustainability Week at Al-Mustaqbal University, and within the program of workshops and activities organized by the Al-Mustaqbal Center for Energy Research, a specialized scientific workshop was delivered by Lecturer Asmaa Mohammed Hameed from the Department of Power Mechanical Engineering. The workshop, titled “Improving Solar Thermal Energy Efficiency in Sustainable Renewable Energy Systems,” focused on the latest methods and technologies used to enhance the efficiency of solar thermal systems. It also highlighted the importance of investing in renewable energy sources to achieve environmental sustainability and reduce reliance on fossil fuels. The session further addressed the key challenges facing the implementation of these systems, along with proposed solutions to improve their performance under various environmental conditions. The workshop was attended by a number of researchers and individuals interested in the energy sector, and included an open discussion session that contributed to enriching knowledge exchange and strengthening research collaboration in this vital field.
