On Monday, October 6, 2025, Al-Mustaqbal University’s College of Science held a ceremony to honor the top students in the Department of Biology. The event was attended by the respected University President, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, the Dean of the College of Science, Assistant Prof. Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, the Head of the Department of Biology, Prof. Dr. Ali Shaalan Maaylef, and the Department Coordinator, Lecturer Jaafar Hamed Jaafar.
During the ceremony, outstanding students from all academic levels were recognized for their academic excellence and scientific efforts throughout the academic year.
This honoring ceremony is part of the university’s ongoing support and encouragement for distinguished students, aiming to motivate them to continue their success and excellence. It also aims to instill a culture of academic achievement among students, in line with the university’s vision to build a knowledgeable and scientifically qualified generation.
Al-Mustaqbal University is the first university in Iraq.
