This morning, the Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques at the College of Health and Medical Technologies – Al-Mustaqbal University held an extended meeting of the Student Registration Committee for the Student Information System (SIS), chaired by Prof. Dr. Dakhel Nasser Taha, Head of the Department, with the attendance of the committee members.
The Head of the Department opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, emphasizing that the implementation of the SIS represents an important step towards digital transformation. He noted that this initiative falls within the college’s efforts to enhance administrative and academic performance, ultimately providing better services for students.
During the meeting, several key points were discussed, including:
• Mechanisms for registering both new and continuing students in the electronic system.
• Organizing the process of data entry and ensuring regular follow-up.
• Developing a plan to facilitate registration and overcome potential obstacles faced by students.
• Defining the responsibilities of each committee member and ensuring accurate implementation.
• Providing technical support and guidance to students throughout the registration process.
The attendees affirmed that the SIS will contribute to ensuring transparency and accuracy in academic data, while also enabling departments to generate reports and statistics necessary for the development of the educational process.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Dakhel Nasser Taha stressed the importance of cooperation and teamwork in carrying out the committee’s tasks effectively, in a way that positively impacts both the department and its students.
