Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, the University organized a grand celebration on the occasion of the Iraqi National Day, held under the slogan: “Promoting National Identity and Its Role in Sustainable Development.”
The celebration was attended by the Dean of the College of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rozan Salman, along with the faculty members, administrators, and staff, which gave the event a distinctive spirit reflecting unity and belonging.
The Department of English had a remarkable presence in the event, as the Head of Department, the Rapporteur, faculty members, and students all participated. The students contributed to organizing a student march that embodied the values of patriotism and highlighted the important role of youth in expressing their loyalty and love for their country.
The program of the celebration included national speeches delivered by academic figures, in addition to segments that expressed pride in the national identity and emphasized its importance as a cornerstone for achieving sustainable development. The attendees praised the high level of organization and the active participation of students, which reflected their awareness and sense of responsibility toward their homeland.
This celebration comes as part of a series of continuous activities regularly organized by Al-Mustaqbal University to promote national values, strengthen the principles of loyalty and giving, and confirm its pioneering role in supporting the educational process and preparing a conscious generation capable of contributing to building a prosperous Iraq.
