The almustaqbal University Council held its eleventh session for the 2024-2025 academic year, chaired by University President Professor Hassan Shaker Magdy, and attended by assistants and deans, and hosted by the Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision.
At the beginning of the session, the University President praised the efforts of all faculty and administrative staff, which have resulted in the university achieving significant accomplishments, such as:
Advancement in international and local rankings.
Activating scientific research and holding conferences.
Expanding international partnerships.
Excellence in sustainability and developing the university's infrastructure.
He also noted the outstanding results achieved by some departments in the ministerial assessment exams. He emphasized the importance of completing grade records and graduate documents on time and reviewing the necessary preparations for the new academic year 2025-2026. He called for the formation of specialized committees within the colleges to monitor safety and security procedures.
The University President invited the Council members to present their plans for the upcoming academic year, focusing on research activities, quality initiatives, and scientific conferences.
The Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, Professor Muzaffar Sadiq Al-Zuhairi, also gave a detailed presentation on the status of scientific research at the university, publication indicators, sustainability plans, and academic partnerships.
At the conclusion of the session, the University President listened to the deans' comments and directed them to be addressed. The topics on the agenda were then reviewed and the necessary recommendations were made.
