In implementation of the directives of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Department of Accounting held a workshop on Tuesday, September 2025, to introduce the Bologna Process for the academic year 2025–2026. The workshop was delivered by the Department's rapporteur, Assistant Lecturer Hussein Ali Hussein.
The workshop aimed to introduce the Bologna educational system and highlight its importance for students and graduates. It also covered the requirements for its implementation, how faculty members can engage with the system, how to develop course descriptions that align with the Bologna framework, and how to manage both scheduled and unscheduled academic hours.
