In line with the directives of Al-Mustaqbal University, represented by the University President, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, to support student creativity and promote research and innovation, the College of Science – Department of Intelligent Medical Systems organized the Think & Code Sprint Hackathon – Think and Code Fast. The event was attended by a group of outstanding students from the department, under the patronage of the respected University President, the Dean of the College of Science, and the Head of the Department of Intelligent Medical Systems, with the supervision of Activities Coordinator Mr. Ali Saleem Haleem.
The event included a student competition designed for department students, carried out in team-based groups that worked with strong collaborative spirit. A series of programming and intellectual challenges were presented, requiring speed in analysis, creative thinking, and smart coding. The participating students sought to provide practical technological solutions that reflected their ability to apply knowledge in the fields of artificial intelligence and modern technologies.
Supervisors praised the students’ efforts and active participation, emphasizing that this activity is part of the university’s ongoing commitment to supporting youth talents and preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with technological advancements and transforming ideas into real-world projects.
This initiative reflects the university’s keenness to link scientific research with sustainability, by encouraging students to innovate digital solutions that contribute to improving the quality of healthcare services, enhancing the efficiency of intelligent medical systems, and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals in the fields of health, education, and technology.
