Professor Dr. Ali Shaalan Muailif, Head of the Department of biology, and Asst. M. Jaafar Hamid Jaafar, Department Rapporteur, participated in the online workshop titled "Livestock Wealth Through Smart Systems to Achieve Sustainable Food Security." The workshop, held via Google Meet, was delivered by Professor Dr. Mahdi Abadi Manea.
The workshop addressed the importance of employing smart systems in developing the livestock sector, as one of the main pillars of achieving sustainable food security. It also addressed recent innovations in this field and their impact on improving animal production and reducing resource waste.
The Department of biology' participation in this event stems from its commitment to enhancing specialized knowledge and keeping up with scientific developments, which contribute to linking academic research with the actual needs of society and sustainable development.
