The Department of Medical Laboratory Techniques – College of Health and Medical Technologies / Al-Mustaqbal University organized on Wednesday, October 1st, 2025, the “Digital Transformation Hackathon in Medical Laboratories” under the slogan: “Towards an Integrated Digital Laboratory”, with wide participation from students of the department and the attendance of a specialized jury panel.
The hackathon aimed to promote the culture of digital transformation in the medical field, develop practical and applicable ideas in laboratory environments, and enhance students’ technical and creative skills in line with the requirements of the digital revolution and global trends in innovation.
Event Details
• The hackathon activities started at 9:00 a.m. in the department’s laboratories and continued until 12:00 p.m.
• The event featured a variety of student projects, including the design of digital systems for laboratory data management, AI-based applications for medical analysis, and innovative solutions to enhance laboratory infrastructure efficiency.
• The jury praised the students’ competitiveness and creativity, emphasizing that such activities instill a culture of practical thinking and link knowledge with modern digital solutions.
