Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Rozan Salman, the College of Education celebrated World Teachers’ Day in an atmosphere filled with appreciation and gratitude for the makers of generations and mentors of values and knowledge.
The celebration was attended by prominent educational figures, including the Head of the Teachers’ Syndicate in Babil, Mr. Thaer Waheed Al-Jubouri, and the Head of the Academics’ Syndicate in Babil, Prof. Dr. Mithaq Al-Khafaji, in addition to a group of distinguished school principals in the province, as well as faculty members and students of the College.
The event commenced with a speech delivered by the Dean of the College, who warmly welcomed the guests and highlighted the pivotal role of teachers in shaping individuals and building the future of the nation. This was followed by a speech from the Head of the Teachers’ Syndicate, who praised the noble mission of teachers in preparing generations and fostering societal development, extending his heartfelt congratulations to the university professors on this cherished occasion.
During the celebration, the Dean of the College of Education extended congratulations to Prof. Dr. Mithaq Al-Khafaji on the occasion of his victory in the Syndicate elections, presenting him with a Certificate of Appreciation and a Shield of Excellence in recognition of his academic and professional contributions. Likewise, the Head of the Teachers’ Syndicate, Mr. Thaer Waheed Al-Jubouri, was honored with a Shield of Excellence for his educational contributions and continuous support of the teaching mission.
The ceremony also witnessed the honoring of a group of distinguished school principals in Babil Province with Shields of Excellence and Creativity, presented by the Dean of the College. In a gesture of mutual appreciation, the Teachers’ Syndicate honored both the Dean of the College and the Head of the Academics’ Syndicate with Shields of Excellence and Creativity, in recognition of their efforts in serving the educational and academic process.
