Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hassan Shakir Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science, the College organized on the morning of Monday, October 6, 2025, a joyful ceremony to honor the top students and Sustainability Ambassadors, in recognition of their outstanding academic and scientific achievements during the past academic year.
The ceremony began with a speech delivered on behalf of the University Presidency by Professor Dr. Muzafar Sadiq Al-Zuheiri, Director of Scientific and Academic Supervision, who extended congratulations to the faculty and students of the College on the occasion of the Iraqi National Day. He praised the remarkable efforts of the students, whose dedication led to their excellence in various scientific and student activities initiated by the University—particularly the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Initiative, launched earlier by the University President, as well as the ongoing preparations for active participation in the Future Ambassadors for Sustainability Camp to be held in mid-October.
This was followed by a speech by the Dean of the College of Science, Professor Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, who expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the University President for his continuous support of the College’s students and his commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and youth empowerment across various scientific and academic fields.
The ceremony also included the University President’s review of a number of promising student projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, sustainability, and modern technologies, during which he commended the efforts of the participating students and their supervising professors. He reaffirmed the University’s ongoing support for all initiatives and projects that strengthen the path of innovation and leadership in higher education.
At the conclusion of the event, top students and Sustainability Ambassadors were honored with certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts, reflecting the University’s pride in their achievements and its continuous commitment to fostering excellence and creativity in alignment with its vision of becoming a leading university in education, research, and community service.
