As part of Al-Mustaqbal University’s ongoing oversight of its major developmental projects, Professor Dr. Hasan Shakir Majdi, President of the University, conducted an inspection visit to the site of the Al-Mustaqbal University Teaching Hospital, accompanied by the Head of the University Affairs Department and several engineering and technical staff supervising the project.
During the visit, His Excellency reviewed the current completion rates and received a detailed briefing on the stages of work and the upcoming medical equipment installations. He emphasized that the project represents a qualitative leap in both the academic and healthcare sectors, serving as a fully integrated training environment for students of the College of Medicine, and as a medical center providing specialized services to the people of Babylon and neighboring provinces.
The University President stressed the importance of adhering to international standards in construction and equipment, and achieving the highest levels of quality throughout the implementation process. He praised the efforts of the engineering teams and the rapid progress made.
He also highlighted that the hospital is among the university’s top priorities, as it plays a central role in the advancement of medical education and the enhancement of healthcare services in Iraq. He called for continued teamwork and a unified spirit to bring the project to fruition.
