The Department of Educational Psychology aims to understand how psychological factors such as mental, social and emotional development affect an individual’s behavior in a learning environment, as well as the impact of the learning process on an individual’s psychological and social development. The curriculum in this department covers a wide range of topics, including theories of learning and psychological development, student assessment, designing effective educational programs, and how to deal with psychological challenges that students may face in the educational context. The Department of Educational Psychology seeks to provide students with the skills and tools necessary to deeply understand the psychological factors that affect the learning process and develop effective strategies to improve student performance and enhance their educational experience. In addition, this department provides opportunities for research and practical application through studies and projects that contribute to the development of the field of educational psychology and enhance the quality of teaching and learning in different societies.
