Recognizing the university’s role in preparing specialized cadres in the fields of science and with the aim of reaching the highest levels of knowledge and advancing the individual and society, the spirit of the College of Science is manifested in its being a complement to the mission of ALmustaqbal university goals, serving the Iraqi community, constant interaction with developments in the field of knowledge, and its complete concern for brilliant minds and the transfer of ideas from the fields. Vision
Providing society and educational institutions with scientific and technical cadres and applied research with excellence in a way that is consistent with societal needs.
Mission
The College of Science seeks to be the birth college for scientists and technical cadres who hold the highest scientific levels in line with the accelerating movement of the wheel of science in the world and what local needs require, by developing the required future plans, consolidating the strengths and addressing the weaknesses.
Objectives
1- Reviewing the curricula of the corresponding departments in reputable universities for the purpose of conducting the required evaluations and conducting the appropriate treatments.
2- Increasing support for initial study laboratories in a way that ensures that learners acquire experiences that enable them to compete and obtain demand in the labor market.
3- Continuing to open modern scientific laboratories and purchasing advanced equipment from original international origins according to what the stage requires, by developing thoughtful plans and evaluating what is most important to enable researchers to solve the studied problems in a more realistic manner.
4- Taking advantage of the modern technologies available, including clarification, presentation, and others, for the purpose of moving the teaching reality from learning to teaching
5- Developing scientific and technical cadres by exploiting all available capabilities and opportunities to raise their scientific levels, as well as involving all cadres (teaching and technical) in participating in courses, conferences, courses and workshops.
6- Expanding cultural and scientific relations and completing scientific twinning agreements with reputable scientific universities with specializations similar to those of our scientific departments and activating these agreements, which include our students in preliminary studies and the solution of scientific problems.
7- Providing modern scientific sources in all their paper, electronic and other forms
8- Creating research partnerships with various local industrial and commercial institutions and with distinguished international universities and scientific research centers.
9- Organizing conferences, seminars, panel discussions, and specialized workshops that contribute to stimulating scientific research
