The College of Engineering Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University was established in April 2023 pursuant to Ministerial Order No. T.H.A/5139, dated 16/4/2023, following the merger of the newly established engineering and engineering technology departments at Al-Mustaqbal University. Academic study commenced in its departments according to their respective establishment years listed in the table below:
Department of Cooling and Refrigeration Engineering Technologies, established on 31/8/2010.
The department was later renamed Power Engineering Technologies with two branches (Air-Conditioning Branch, Energy Branch).
Department of Computer Engineering Technologies, established on 31/8/2010.
Department of Construction and Building Engineering, established in 2012.
Department of Medical Devices Engineering Technologies, established on 8/12/2020.
Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies, established in 2023.
Department of Fuel and Energy Engineering Technologies, established in 2023.
Department of Communications Engineering Technologies, established in 2023.

College of Engineering Technologies Vision focuses on the Achievement of Excellence in Education, Scientific Research and Technology at all levels, developing Students’ Capabilities and qualifying them to become Distinguished Engineers as well as Specialists in their Fields.

College of Engineering Technologies Mission aims to provide Students with the required knowledge and skills that are quite necessary for them to become Distinguished and Innovative Engineers who are capable of designing and developing technologies as well as solutions, which contribute in the improvement of Life Quality.

The goals of College of Engineering and Technology can be summarized as follows:

1. Creating an Educational Environment, which encourages for Critical Thinking and innovation in the various Majors of Engineering

2. Providing Students with Knowledge & Skills that are required for solving Engineering & Technical problems, reinforcing meanwhile the required training on New Engineering Technologies.

3. Promoting Scientific Research as well as Technological Development that shall lead to Innovation and Creativity in the various Fields of Engineering.

4. Promoting Critical Thinking among Students, and encouraging them to develop Problem Solving Skills related to Engineering & Technical Issues.

5. Creating Practical Learning and Training Opportunities to Students through Cooperation Programs with Industrial Institutions, Companies and other Organizations related to Engineering and Technical Fields.

6. Enhancement of Cooperation and Communication between Students, Academics, Researchers, Communities and expertise in the Fields of Engineering Technology.
