About College of Agricultural Techniques
The College of Agriculture Techniques was established in the year 2024 and received its students in the academic year 2024-2025. The college includes two departments: Department of Medicinal Plants and Natural Products Technologies and the Department of Animal Production Techniques. The college aims to qualifying the graduates scientifically and practically, and equipped them with the latest technologies in their field of specialization in order to provide the agricultural sector and other related sectors with technical personnel capable of transferring technology and making optimal use of it.
The duration of study at the college is four years, and also includes summer training. The college accepts graduates of preparatory studies for the applied, and biological scientific branch, in addition to graduates of institutes and agricultural preparatory schools.
The college possess classrooms furnished with all educational means, in addition to scientific laboratories as well as farms in order to implementing practical and applied lessons in various specializations, including glass and plastic houses and specialized farms for mushroom production, in addition to apiaries located in the natural reserve at our university.
The college seeks to implement quality assurance and university performance standards to the entire organizational structure of the college. It also follows the Bologna path in education.

The college seeks to graduate distinguished professioners with the ability to compete and meet the requirements of the market through solid curricula with the help of a distinguished teaching staff capable of using the best teaching and learning strategies to provide students with scientific expertise, develop skills, manage and implement research projects, and provide professional consultations in cooperation with other universities and research centers.

1- The college aims to graduate agricultural technical personnel capable of working in relevant institutions and projects and applying their academic knowledge in the field.
2- Developing the role of agricultural education and its importance in society to meet the needs of the labor market.
3- Keeping pace with the latest developments and modern scientific innovations in various agricultural technical specializations in the developed world by expanding the horizons of activity to keep pace with scientific development in the world.
4- Qualifying and developing human capabilities in various agricultural technology specializations.
5- Interacting with the local community through providing advice, scientific studies, joint research, holding conferences and seminars in a way that achieves the university’s slogan “Towards a Sustainable University.”
6- Providing scientific research and specialized studies to provide solutions to technical problems.
7- Expanding the principle of partnership, cooperation and twinning in various directions between our college and other colleges corresponding to it locally and internationally.
