The College of Law Organizes a Workshop on the Student Disciplinary Law for First-Year Students

Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi (respected), and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Law, Professor Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini (respected), and as part of the activities of the College of Law, the College organized a workshop entitled “Student Disciplinary Law”, dedicated to first-year students, on Tuesday, 23/12/2025, in the College of Law Hall – Humanities Building. The workshop was delivered by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Thamer Ramadan Amin, who addressed the legal framework of the Student Disciplinary Law, clarifying the most important rights and duties stipulated by the law, and the mechanisms for its application within educational institutions, in a manner that contributes to reinforcing the principles of academic discipline and respect for university rules and regulations. The workshop also reviewed the educational objectives of the Student Disciplinary Law and its role in organizing the university environment, promoting responsible behavior, and building the student’s character on legal and ethical foundations that contribute to achieving a stable and disciplined educational environment. At the conclusion of the workshop, the lecturer emphasized the importance of raising awareness among first-year students about university laws and instructions from the beginning of their academic journey, due to its positive impact in reducing violations and promoting a culture of adherence to the law, in line with university values and the standards adopted in educational institutions.
