Under the patronage of the President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Engineering and Technology, Associate Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul-Muhtaram, the College of Engineering and Technology organized a scientific visit for its students, with the participation of a number of faculty members, to the 11th Iraq International Energy Exhibition and Conference held at Baghdad International Fairgrounds. The visit was conducted under the supervision and guidance of a distinguished group of the college’s academic staff, as part of supporting the practical side of students’ education and enhancing their understanding of modern applications in the fields of electricity, oil and gas, and renewable energy. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the latest technologies and solutions adopted in the energy sector, linking theoretical knowledge with practical applications, which contributes to developing their scientific and professional skills and preparing them to meet labor market requirements. The visit also aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly: Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, Goal 13: Climate Action. The College’s administration emphasized that organizing such scientific visits is part of its strategic plan aimed at enhancing the quality of education, building students’ capabilities, and supporting the path of sustainable development, in line with Al-Mustaqbal University’s vision of serving society.
