The College of Fine Arts at Al-Mustaqbal University organized a specialized practical workshop entitled “Architecture and Arts Hackathon: Design and Innovation”, under the direct supervision of the College Deanship, represented by Professor Dr. Mazen Hadi Kzar, as part of the college’s academic orientation toward enhancing practical learning and developing students’ creative and design thinking skills.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Rawaa Ali Younis, a faculty member at the College of Fine Arts. The sessions focused on introducing students to the concept of hackathons in architecture and arts, teamwork mechanisms, and methods for developing creative ideas and transforming them into applicable design solutions, based on scientific foundations and modern modeling and presentation techniques.
The workshop witnessed active student engagement, emphasizing innovation, teamwork, and the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application, contributing to preparing students with contemporary skills aligned with labor market requirements.
This workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, by promoting high-quality education, enhancing hands-on learning opportunities, and strengthening creative and technical capacities in architecture and arts education.
