Under the patronage and guidance of the Dean of the College of Engineering Technologies, a workshop entitled “Updating Website Interfaces and Management Mechanisms for Scientific Departments” was held today at 10:00 a.m. in the Engineering Building / Hall (AC006). The workshop addressed methods for developing and updating website interfaces in line with modern electronic publishing standards, in addition to explaining the fundamentals of electronic content management for scientific departments, mechanisms for monitoring periodic updates, and publishing news and events in an organized and accurate manner. The workshop also emphasized the role of digital transformation in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly: Goal 4: Quality Education, by improving access to academic information and enhancing the quality of educational content. Goal 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, through developing digital infrastructure for websites and employing modern technologies. Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by enhancing transparency and facilitating access to institutional information. The workshop was attended by website representatives of the scientific departments, during which the importance of unifying publishing standards and adhering to the university’s institutional identity was stressed, contributing to highlighting the scientific and academic activities of the college in a manner that reflects its academic standing. At the conclusion of the workshop, the floor was opened for discussion and remarks, with an emphasis on the necessity of continuing to hold such developmental workshops to keep pace with digital advancement and enhance the electronic media performance of the scientific departments.
