The President of Al-Mustaqbal University, Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi, expressed his pride in the advanced results achieved by the university in the 2025 Arab Universities Ranking, announced by the Association of Arab Universities. He affirmed that this achievement reflects the university’s advanced academic standing and its leadership among private universities in Iraq. The University President stated that Al-Mustaqbal University achieved first place among private universities in Iraq and fifth place nationally among 63 Iraqi universities participating, in addition to 62nd place among Arab universities, in a ranking that included 236 universities from 20 Arab countries. Prof. Dr. Hasan Shaker Majdi highlighted that the Arab Universities Ranking is conducted in cooperation with the Association of Arab Universities, the General Secretariat of the Arab League, the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils, and the Arab Organization for Education, Culture, and Science (ALECSO). It is based on precise criteria, including the quality of education, research outputs, excellence of faculty members, international collaboration, and community service.
