As part of its commitment to strengthening its leading role in supporting scientific innovation and promoting a culture of applied research, University of Al-Mustaqbal announces the launch of the National University Championship for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Applications (NURAI). This national scientific platform aims to develop the skills of Iraqi university students in artificial intelligence, robotics, and mechatronics, while encouraging creativity and applied scientific thinking in a productive competitive environment. The initiative is organized under the supervision of the College of Science, which continues its dedicated efforts to prepare a distinguished generation of students capable of transforming theoretical knowledge into practical applications that serve society and enhance the university’s position as an innovative academic institution shaping the future. The championship seeks to advance students’ skills in modern technologies, stimulate applied scientific research, and promote teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration, helping to prepare graduates capable of innovation and competitiveness at both national and international levels. The competition encompasses five main tracks: the agricultural track, the industrial track, the medical track, the environmental track, and the education track. These tracks represent the foundations of scientific and practical development in Iraqi universities and align with national development priorities. This initiative is also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributing to the achievement of four key goals: Quality Education, Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Partnerships for the Goals. Through this alignment, the University of Al-Mustaqbal reaffirms its vital role in supporting quality education and sustainable development in Iraq.
