The College of Engineering and Technology, with the participation of a group of instructors from the Department of Electrical Engineering Technologies under the supervision of Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abdul, continues to organize the distribution of Ramadan food baskets to needy families. This humanitarian initiative reflects the spirit of solidarity and social responsibility during the holy month of Ramadan, a month of generosity, giving, and forgiveness. The food baskets included essential items to meet the needs of the beneficiary families, carefully prepared and organized to ensure the support reaches them in a dignified manner, with active participation from the department staff and students. The activities were supervised by the Activities Committee, represented by Dr. Hasan Mowafaq Ghani, Mr. Ali Abbas, Mr. Ali Naji Radi, and Mr. Haider Karrar Hussein, who oversaw all stages of the work on the ground, from preparation to delivery of the baskets to their rightful recipients, reflecting the spirit of teamwork and organized volunteer work. This initiative is part of a series of community activities that the department strives to organize, emphasizing the role of the educational institution in serving society and reinforcing values of cooperation and compassion during this blessed month.
