The College of Engineering at Al Mustaqbal University signed a joint scientific and academic memorandum of understanding with the College of Engineering at University of Babylon, under the patronage of the President of Al Mustaqbal University, Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi. The agreement was signed during an official visit by a delegation from Al Mustaqbal University to the University of Babylon. The delegation from Al Mustaqbal University was headed by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Shaker Majdi, accompanied by Dr. Ali Kamel Kareem, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Mahmoud Razouqi Hamad, Head of the Department of Architecture Engineering. The delegation was received by the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Babylon, Professor Dr. Laith Ali Abdul Rahim, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ali Hassoun Nehab, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hossam Jabbar Al-Ghadban, Head of the Department of Architecture Engineering. The meeting discussed prospects for scientific and academic cooperation, establishing a roadmap for exchanging expertise between faculty members and researchers, activating joint research initiatives and projects that contribute to serving society and addressing technical challenges, in addition to organizing workshops and specialized seminars aimed at developing students’ skills and enhancing the efficiency of engineering staff. This memorandum comes within the framework of unifying academic efforts and enhancing the quality of educational outcomes in line with labor market requirements and keeping pace with rapid technological developments, thereby strengthening the position of both institutions in the field of higher education and scientific research.
