The Engineering Technical College at Al-Mustaqbal University participated in the ceremony of renewing the twinning and scientific cooperation agreement between Al-Mustaqbal University and the University of Technology. Dr. Mujtaba Abdul-Kadhim attended the event representing the Dean of the Engineering Technical College, Assistant Professor Dr. Azhar Mohsen Abd, as part of efforts to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions.
The agreement was signed under the direction of Professor Dr. Hassan Shaker Majdi, President of Al-Mustaqbal University, and within the framework of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s policy to support partnerships between public and private universities.
Representing Al-Mustaqbal University at the signing ceremony were Dr. Furat Hamza Al-Sultani, Dean of the College of Science; Dr. Ali Al-Gharabi, Head of the Cybersecurity Department; and Dr. Abdul-Kadhim Abdul-Karim, Head of the Artificial Intelligence Department. Representing the University of Technology were Dr. Alaa Kadhim Farhan, Dean of the College of Computer Science, along with several department heads. The delegation was received by the President of the University of Technology, Dr. Mohsen Nouri Hamza.
The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the exchange of academic expertise, adopt joint scientific and research projects, and develop educational and research programs in a way that achieves mutual benefit for all parties.
It is worth noting that Al-Mustaqbal University seeks, through such academic partnerships, to expand horizons of scientific cooperation with Iraqi and international universities in line with its plans to support scientific research and develop the educational environment.
