As part of its ongoing efforts to raise awareness and address societal issues, the College of Law at Al-Mustaqbal University held a scientific seminar on March 14, 2026, in the college hallstitled “Violence Against Wives and Its Impact on the Family and Iraqi Society,” under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hassan Shaker Magdy, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ammar Abbas Al-Husseini. Delivered by Dr. Ali Hamza Nimrod, the seminar examined the social, psychological, and legal causes of domestic violence and its effects on families and children. Key recommendations included promoting legal awareness, encouraging dialogue and tolerance, and strengthening the role of academic institutions in spreading human values. The event saw active engagement and concluded with practical solutions. Al-Mustaqbal University ranks first among private universities in Iraq.
