Enhancing Academic Rigor through Joint Examinations between Al-Mustaqbal University and Northern Technical University

The College of Agricultural Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University witnessed the continuation of joint examinations with Northern Technical University as part of the academic twinning program and scientific cooperation between the two universities. On Sunday, April 5, 2026, a joint examination in Plant Taxonomy was conducted for students of the Department of Medicinal Plants and Natural Products. The examination was held under the supervision and follow-up of the ministerial committee assigned to oversee the examination process, which included Assist. Prof. Dr. Salam Ali Kheit, Assist. Prof. Dr. Imad Abdul Jabbar, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Makki Noaman Nayef. The committee reviewed the examination procedures and the scientific and administrative measures adopted to ensure the highest levels of academic integrity and quality. The Deanery of the College of Agricultural Technologies at Al-Mustaqbal University affirmed that joint examinations represent an important step toward enhancing the quality of higher education, improving students’ academic performance, and unifying scientific standards among Iraqi universities, thereby reinforcing the concepts of academic competitiveness and advancing educational outcomes. This examination comes as part of a series of joint academic activities implemented by Al-Mustaqbal University in cooperation with Northern Technical University, in support of the directions of the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research toward strengthening scientific partnerships among Iraqi academic institutions.
